Planning Commission:  Results of June 10, 2019, Public Hearing


Planning Commission recommended approval (6-0) of an application from Viamac, Inc., and 3675 Orange Avenue, LLC, to rezone the property, repeal certain conditions proffered as part of a previous rezoning, and proffer new conditions for the property located at 3659 Orange Avenue, N.E., and a portion of 3675 Orange Avenue, N.E., from CG, Commercial-General District, to MXPUD, Mixed Use Planned Unit Development District, with conditions.  This application was amended at public hearing to correct a discrepancy between the dates on the development plan and the proffered condition.

Planning Commission recommended approval (6-0) of an application from Assisi Animal Clinics of Virginia, Inc., to rezone property located at 0 Elm Avenue, S.W., 0 Elm Avenue, S.W., 0 Elm Avenue, S.W., 0 Elm Avenue, S.W., 725 Franklin Road, S.W., 719 Franklin Road, S.W., and 717 Franklin Road, S.W., from MX, Mixed Use District, to D, Downtown District, with conditions.  

City Council will hold a public hearing on the matters above on Monday, June 17, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in Council Chamber on the fourth floor of the Noel C. Taylor Municipal Building, 215 Church Avenue, S.W., Roanoke, Virginia.
