Municipal Building Closed Until Friday, Dec. 14

Roanoke, VA - The City of Roanoke’s Noel C. Taylor Municipal Building has received a serious bomb threat. As a result, the building was evacuated before 4:00 p.m. and will reopen for regular business hours tomorrow morning on Friday, Dec. 14.

It appears that the threat was part of similar threats issued nationwide. In addition, the Architectural Review Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. The meeting's agenda items will be added to the January meeting.
