Red Cross Shelter at Berglund Center to Close on Tuesday

A shutdown of the regional Red Cross shelter at Berglund Center is being coordinated. As of the latest report, there are 16 clients in shelter.  The Red Cross policy is that once a shelter is activated with clients, they must give a 24-hour notice before shutting the doors.  Red Cross will announce the closing and indicate the shelter will be closed at noon tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 18.  The Homeless Assistance Team will be responding to aid those clients that may have no housing options and to provide information on local services.  The Rescue Mission will also be offering services.
