The Pension Investment Committee, as appointed by the Board of Trustees of the City of Roanoke Pension Plan, which administers the City of Roanoke Pension Plan for employees of the City, will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, through electronic communication means. The Pension Investment Committee will meet to consider investment and related matters for the administration of the City of Roanoke Pension Plan.
Based on the declarations of emergency made by the President of the United States, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Roanoke City Manager, the emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic disaster makes it unsafe and unhealthy for the public to attend this meeting in person. In addition, the City Manager has closed the Municipal Building to the public, effective as of March 18, 2020.
