The City Cemetery was opened in 1876 and is home to a variety of renowned residents including a few early mayors, Patrick Henry's granddaughter, numerous members of the Fishburn family, Peyton Terry (who donated the land for Elmwood Park), and Ferdinand Rorer (who has 2 different city streets named after him).
