CSA Vendors

Roanoke City CSA values our vendor partners! To facilitate communication between the local CSA office and you, our vendor partner, the following is offered as reference information.

Vendors

Please forward current licenses and verification of insurance as these documents are updated. We need a current copy, of both, on file.

​All case workers have the dates of the next FAPT/UR meeting for the vendor representative to be able to schedule attendance or participation.

​All services require a signed report, specific with details, and prior to payment.

​ For FAPT and CPMT approval it is necessary for all related reports to have been submitted for review. They are due the 14th of the month, following the month the service was provided.

Community Vendors

1) Please plan to participate in FAPT meetings.
​2) Reports need to be submitted signed.
​3) Reports need to include details, i.e. level of care, number of hours provided, dates of contact.
​4) Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Case Management requires prior approval.
​5) Any medical care and related expenses, not covered by Medicaid, requires prior approval.

Congregate Care Vendors

1) Please plan to participate in FAPT meetings.
​2) Discharge planning must begin at admission.
​3) The discharge plan should be realistic based on the child-specific needs and should not be based on program length.
​4) Monthly reports should include information about actions taken and action planned to support forward movement of the discharge plan.
​5) Monthly reports are to be submitted by the 14th of the month, following the month of service.
​6) Reports need to be submitted signed.
​7) Any medical care and related expenses, not covered by Medicaid, requires prior approval. This information is subject to change. Please refer to the CSA Contract for additional information
