2018 Neighborhood Month

Jackson Park Library Outdoor Festivities
Neighborhood Month is an annual month long celebration of community and neighborhood pride hosted by Roanoke neighborhood organizations to provide opportunities for all residents of all neighborhoods to come together with each other to celebrate our neighborhoods…and each other... as we do have so much to celebrate.

Neighborhood Month provides you with an opportunity to learn about a neighborhood (or neighborhoods) other than your own and to meet the folks who live there. By leaving the comfort of your own neighborhood and venturing out to see what the rest of Roanoke and our neighborhoods are really about you will quickly discover just how unique each neighborhood is.

At the same time, learn that each is filled with warm and friendly people who care about their neighborhood - just as you care about yours. So venture out, meet neighbors in other neighborhoods and experience why all of Roanoke's neighborhoods are places we are each proud to call home.
